About me

I am a painter and drawer living in New York City. My works are created with youthfulness in mind, and I aim to capture the whimsical and creative energy of childhood. Each one of my pieces is a way for me to pay respect to my two greatest treasures: creativity and the natural world. I see my art as a way to share the beauty of nature, while adding a magical touch!  In my free time, I love to travel, read, try new cuisines, and visit outdoor art and vintage markets.

I attended Kenyon College and studied abroad at The University of Oxford, where I majored in English Literature and Religious Studies. Reading such a wide array of literature is what originally gave me the creative inspiration to come up with characters, both in my art and writing. Today, my paintings and drawings are character-focused, and I give each of my subjects a distinct personality. They become friends to me, and I enjoy unveiling their eccentricities as I plan and paint. My dream is to illustrate for children's books and collaborate with publishers.
